Chiropractic Australia supports the Government’s approach to the COVID-19 pandemic and relies on the communication of all information from the public health authorities when reiterating accurate and responsible advice to our members and the public.
Chiropractic Australia President Prof. Rod Bonello said today “As the peak body committed to evidence-based care in the treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions, we do not see a role for chiropractic as an option for the treatment of COVID-19 and that questions on the management of infections should be deferred to public health authorities and medical practitioners.”
Chiropractic Australia supports Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Chiropractic Board in their governance of the Chiropractic industry.
