Before choosing NFC clocking for a phone-restricted workplace

Before selecting phone-based attendance for a workshop, check whether staff may carry phones to the recording point. The published Insacheck guide describes registered NFC tags as one clocking method, but also identifies settings where a dedicated terminal may fit better, including phone-restricted areas. A useful pilot question is therefore not simply whether NFC works: can every worker reach an approved recording point without breaching the workplace device policy? Check the permitted location, connectivity and exception procedure before choosing a method. Do not assume a smartphone workflow suits every site.
