Changing the company stamp without rewriting issued certificates: an Insacheck review
Disclosure: prepared for Insacheck’s product-information work. This is a documentation-based feature review, not an independent customer testimonial. No company stamp was changed and no employee document was issued in a live account for this article.
A new company stamp should not make last month’s issued certificate look like a document created today. That is the narrow question behind this review: how should a small employer separate an authorised stamp change from the history of documents already delivered?
Imagine a courier business replacing an unclear stamp image. This is a hypothetical operating example, not a customer story. The office coordinator can prepare the replacement file, but preparation is not permission to change what appears on company-issued documents.
Three boundaries worth reviewing
Insacheck’s public certificate guide says an uploaded company stamp takes precedence over the generated one, with one stamp active per company. It also says the stamp is fixed when a certificate is issued, so changing the company stamp later does not change that earlier document. Replacement is restricted to the representative administrator and company administrator.
I would turn those distinctions into a short change record: which company is affected, who is authorised to approve the replacement, when the new file is activated and which sample document was checked afterwards. This is my proposed operating checklist, not a description of built-in fields.
Check an old copy and a new copy separately
Before a planned change, retain an authorised sample of an earlier issued document in its existing restricted location. Do not put an employee’s certificate in a public pin or a shared marketing folder. Use fictitious staff for any pilot.
After the authorised administrator replaces the stamp, inspect a newly issued test copy and the earlier sample independently. A successful replacement should answer two different questions: is the intended new stamp used for the next document, and does the previously issued copy remain unchanged? A new preview alone cannot answer both.
If somebody asks for an earlier document to be corrected, keep that request separate from the stamp replacement. Confirm the current correction or reissue procedure with the issuer instead of treating an image upload as a way to amend historical documents. This review has not tested cancellation, reissue or rollback behaviour.
Two exceptions to settle first
The wrong company is selected. Stop before activating the file and have the authorised company owner confirm the context. A group with several companies should not assume that the same stamp belongs on every document.
The stamp file is unreadable. Check the intended printed or PDF output before ordinary issuance resumes. The published guide accepts PNG and JPG uploads, but that is not a guarantee that every low-resolution source will produce a readable document.
Readers comparing a 출퇴근기록기 (clock-in recorder) or 근태관리기 (attendance-management tool) should evaluate this document-control boundary separately from attendance collection. One product can contain both workflows without making their access rules interchangeable.
The Insacheck certificate guide, reviewed on 26 October 2026, is the source for the product description. My adoption criterion would be a named authorised owner, a checked new sample and an unchanged earlier sample. This does not establish legal acceptance, a certified digital signature or a tested retention guarantee.
The image is an illustrative change-control checklist, not an Insacheck screen or evidence of a customer test.
